[Electronics] Teach you to create a cool bullet case headset

[Electronics] Teach you to create a cool bullet case headset

Wearing such a cool DIY earphone, whether you are in the subway or bus, morning run or walking, it is like a firefly in the dark, it is so dazzling, bright...

DIY material:

2 bullet casings (W.40Cal), an old pair of headphones, 10mm diameter pegs, 400#, 800#, 1200# sandpaper, a sponge, hacksaw, rig, center punch, electric iron, vise.

The old earphone I used was the TDK EB760, which fits perfectly with the bullet case. The center punch is as small as possible and can pass through the headphone cable.

Specific steps

STEP1

Secure the bullet casing and drill with a center punch or nail. Since the material of the bullet casing is brass, the process is very easy.

STEP2

The rig was used to clamp a 10mm stud, inserted into the bullet casing to fix it, and then the rig was rotated using 400# and 800# sandpaper for all-round grinding.

STEP3

Use a vernier caliper to measure 8 mm from the opening of the shell, and then use a hacksaw for detailed cutting.

Polish the cutting edge to make it as smooth as possible. The remaining part is about 12mm after measurement. Finally, use more than 1000# sandpaper to continue polishing the shell (don't ask me why, this is a feeling), and then use a sponge to clean it.

STEP4

For simple disassembly of the old headphones, be careful not to tear the wires off at will.

STEP5

When assembling the earphones, be sure to solder the headphones of the headphones after passing the wires through the holes (I just made a wrong QAQ here)!

Thanks to some coincidences, my headphones and the case are perfect. If you are as lucky as I am, then it would be better. If it weren't for you, you might need some glue.

Ok, you're done! Let's show off the headphones!
